Ferries have temporarily suspended operations on routes such as Rach Gia, Ha Tien to Phu Quoc, Nam Du and vice versa. The route Rach Gia to Hon Son and vice versa under the management of the Inland Port Authority is still operating normally.
Shipping lines have notified passengers and agents to change schedules to ensure passenger safety.
According to the forecast of the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, in the Southern sea area, the Northeast wind is strong at level 5-6, gusting at level 7-8; waves are 1.5-2.5m high; the sea is rough. Due to the influence of strong winds, large waves combined with high tides from December 15-17, it may cause coastal water levels to rise by 0.2-0.3m.
