On December 26, Quang Tri Provincial Police coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs, the Bank for Policies and Social Affairs and related units to organize a conference "Dialogue, vocational training consultation and job introduction for those who have completed their prison sentences in 2025", in Dong Hoi ward, Dong Son ward and Quang Ninh commune.
The program aims to support community reintegration, remove difficulties in paperwork, employment, loans and access to policies.
Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Cao Quang - Head of the Criminal Enforcement and Judicial Support Department of Quang Tri Provincial Police emphasized that accompanying those who have completed their prison sentences is a meaningful task, contributing to preventing recidivism and maintaining security and order at the grassroots level.
Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Cao Quang suggested that localities provide better support in residential procedures, loan conditions and connecting recruiting businesses.
Representatives of the authorities informed about policies on removing records, registration of residence, and loan conditions according to Decision 22/2023/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister. The Policy - Social Bank guides credit records to recover the family economy; Department of Home Affairs and appropriate vocational counseling employment service centers, recruitment and vocational training criteria according to business needs.
The direct dialogue recorded difficulties in administrative procedures, lack of vocational skills, integration pressure and the fear of discrimination when returning to the locality. Representatives of competent authorities answer on-site and receive the content for further handling under their authority.
