The Ring Road 4 project in Hanoi Capital region is about 113.52km long, passing through 3 provinces and cities: Hanoi, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh. The project is identified as an inter-regional ring road traffic axis with a particularly important role in the national transport infrastructure network.
The Ring Road 4 project in the Capital region section passing through Hanoi is about 59.2km long, passing through 17 wards and communes with a total recovered land area of 800.15ha and 9,039 graves that need to be moved.
Up to now, after 3 years and 2 months of implementation, wards and communes have completed the construction of 13/13 resettlement areas, completed land acquisition, site clearance, tomb relocation, and surface underground construction relocation to ensure progress.

Regarding the construction progress of the parallel road in Hanoi city: About 35/53km of asphalt concrete has been constructed. The output to date has reached about 3,575/4,205 billion VND (about 85%), basically completing the entire parallel road in the second quarter of 2026.
For component project 3 - investing in the construction of the expressway according to the public-private partnership (PPP) method, investors are focusing on organizing the construction of main items, including Hong Ha, Me So, Hoai Thuong bridges and elevated bridge sections on the route.
During the implementation process, some technical contents have been reviewed and adjusted to ensure compliance with planning, optimizing traffic connectivity and exploitation efficiency.
Hanoi City People's Committee said that investors are focusing resources, striving to accelerate construction progress, complete the main route before the APEC Conference in 2027, and closely follow the direction of the Government and the Project Steering Committee.

In the city center, the Ring Road 1 construction investment project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, has its starting point at the intersection with Cat Linh - La Thanh - Yen Lang road at Hoang Cau; the ending point at Voi Phuc traffic junction.
The total length of the route is about 2,274km through 3 wards O Cho Dua, Lang and Giang Vo, the cross-section scale is 50m.
On the route, there are 2 overpass projects (at Lang Ha - Giang Vo intersection and Nguyen Chi Thanh intersection). Total investment is more than 7,210 billion VND.
The project has been implemented since 2018, but site clearance work will not be completed until December 15, 2025.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Nam An - Head of Project Implementation Management Department 1, Hanoi Civil Construction Investment Project Management Board - said that after being handed over the entire clean site, the investor directed contractors to simultaneously deploy the relocation of underground and surface infrastructure; relocate and cut down green trees; construct road items, build direct overpasses on the route, striving to complete the project in 2026 according to the direction of Hanoi City People's Committee.

In the Southern region, the Ring Road 2.5 project, Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section, will also be completed in 2026.
The project is about 1.6km long, with a total investment of more than 1,300 billion VND.
The project started in 2014, expected to be completed after 3 years but was delayed due to site clearance problems and waiting for the BT contract appendix to be extended.
By May 2025, the project will be restarted.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Hoang Ha Construction Investment Co., Ltd. (the project investor) said that construction work is being urgently deployed by the contractor.
During the 2026 New Year holiday, 100% of the personnel are mobilized at the construction site, accelerating the project progress" - the investor representative said.
The investor aims to complete Ring Road 2.5, Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section in the first quarter of 2026, hoping to help reduce congestion and open up new development space for the Southern part of the Capital.
