Under the scorching sun of summer days, parks in Hanoi have become ideal rendezvous spots for people. Instead of being confined to four stuffy concrete walls, going to the green canopy to exercise has become a habit that helps many people both train their health and relieve stress after a long day.

Mr. Hoang Trung Dung (22 years old, Thanh Xuan ward, Hanoi) shared: "At home, it's very stuffy and sultry, making me completely lack the spirit to study. Therefore, I and my friends went to the park for a walk to feel more comfortable. I hope the city will have more green space like this for people to relax on hot sunny days.
Sharing the same view, Ms. Nguyen Do Thao Nhi (Tu Liem ward, Hanoi) said that although there is a regulating lake near her house, she still accepts going 3km to the park because of the large space and many green trees: "This year summer comes early and the sun is also harsh. Every day I come here to jog or play volleyball to relieve stress after a long day.

Not only is it a place to exercise, the park is also a place to help balance my mood. Ms. Nguyen Tran Huong Giang (Cau Giay ward, Hanoi) confided: "The hot sun makes me easily irritable, working ineffectively. Even though the house has air conditioning, staying in the room forever is also harmful to my health. Going to the park to play badminton helps me feel more comfortable and refreshed.

Although exercise is good, medical experts warn that exercising in hot weather without a scientific water supplement regimen will be potentially dangerous.
Dr. Truong Hong Son - Director of the Vietnam Institute of Applied Medicine - emphasized: "The amount of water supplemented is not only to maintain body activity but also to compensate for the amount of sweat lost due to heat. For workers or outdoor exercisers, it is necessary to supplement at least 300 - 500 ml of water compared to normal levels.
Doctors also noted that water replenishment must be done regularly with small sips, avoiding letting the body be too thirsty before drinking a large amount at the same time. In addition to filtered water, people should diversify water sources from soup, fruit juice or berries to supplement vitamins and essential nutrients.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from May 15 to 16, the Northern region will maintain hot weather, with intense heat in some places. The highest temperature is commonly from 35-37 degrees C, in some places exceeding 37 degrees C. Humidity fluctuates around 45-50%, hot weather concentrates from 11 am to 4 pm daily.
Due to the influence of hot sun and intense heat combined with low humidity in the air, there is a high risk of fires and explosions in residential areas due to increased electricity demand. In addition, hot sun can also cause dehydration for the human body when exposed to high temperatures for a long time.
