On August 6, Hanoi City Police said that, continuing the series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Security Protection Day, Hanoi City Police organized the program "Fest for the City for Peace" with many special contents.
The highlight is the team approval and mass parade activities with the participation of nearly 3,000 officers, soldiers and people of the capital.
More than 245 specialized motor vehicles were mobilized, contributing to demonstrating the combined strength, regularity - elite - modernity of the Capital Police in the new era.
According to Hanoi City Police, the program aims to contribute to spreading the image of brave and friendly People's Public Security soldiers, serving the people, worthy of being "steel shields", "shelters" to protect the Party, the State and the peaceful life of the people.
The program will officially take place from 7:30 a.m. on August 10 at the Monument of King Ly Thai To and Dinh Tien Hoang Street (Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, Hoan Kiem ward, Hanoi).
Hanoi City Police have also announced traffic diversion to organize the program "Fest for the Peaceful Capital".
On the evening of August 10, at My Dinh National Stadium, the political art program "Fatherland in the heart" will take place.
The event was identified as a key cultural and political activity, opening a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
With the message "Fatherland is not far away - Fatherland is in the hearts of everyone", the program promises to bring a profound emotional journey, connecting the heroic memories of the past with the aspiration to rise up of the present and the future.
Then there is an 8-minute fireworks display (from 10pm to 10pm) at the F1 - My Dinh racetrack, with 300 high-altitude fireworks and 60 low-altitude fireworks displays, concluding the political art program "Fatherland in the heart".
