Hanoi pilots new traffic in Ba Dinh

Hanoi The Department of Construction will pilot traffic organization adjustment on some routes in Ba Dinh District.

Based on the current situation, the Hanoi Department of Construction will organize traffic on Tran Phu Street (from Le Truc to Kim Ma), Thanh Bao Street and neighboring areas.

Accordingly, one-way traffic will be organized for vehicles on Tran Phu Street in the direction from Le Truc to Kim Ma. Organize one-way traffic for all vehicles on Thanh Bao Street from Son Tay to Tran Phu.

On Thanh Bao Street (from Nguyen Thai Hoc to Tran Phu), traffic organization will be adjusted, prohibiting all vehicles from going straight and turning right onto Tran Phu Street. The pilot implementation period is 6 months, starting from March 15, 2025 to September 15, 2025.

Assign the Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board (Department of Construction) to implement adjustments, dismantling, and revoking signs and fences of the median strip, removing old paint lines, adding a system to ensure traffic safety, installing additional signs, paint lines, etc. according to the pilot plan to adjust traffic organization.

Coordinate with the Traffic Control Center - Hanoi City Police to adjust the traffic light system at the Le Truc - Tran Phu intersection and neighboring bottles, in accordance with the pilot plan and traffic volume after adjustment.

Monitor and evaluate the traffic situation on the route and area to promptly detect inadequacies and propose appropriate adjustments to the traffic organization plan.

Assign the Department of Construction Inspectorate to arrange forces to coordinate with relevant units to organize traffic flow guidance for vehicles according to the pilot plan.

Request the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police to coordinate in guiding traffic flow for vehicles participating in traffic to ensure safety and avoid congestion. At the same time, strengthen inspection and handling of violations of traffic safety and order, urban order on routes and intersections.

Request the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District to direct functional forces and local authorities to coordinate with the Inspectorate of the Department of Construction, Hanoi City Traffic Police and related units to regulate and guide traffic flow to avoid congestion.

Organize inspections and handle violations of traffic safety and order, encroachment on sidewalks and roads for business, illegal parking causing unsafety and traffic congestion at roads and intersections in neighboring areas.
