On the afternoon of September 3, the Hanoi Department of Construction issued a notice to adjust traffic organization on the CV1C ramp branch, directing vehicles from Vinh Tuy Bridge to turn right onto Nguyen Khoi Street.
According to the traffic organization plan, vehicles with a load capacity of over 18 tons are prohibited from traveling through the CV1C ramp branch from Vinh Tuy Bridge to turn right to Nguyen Khoi (except for buses allowed to operate).
Vehicles with a load capacity of over 18 tons will move straight from Vinh Tuy Bridge to Minh Khai Street to travel in other directions.
The implementation period is from September 3.
The Hanoi Department of Construction assigned the Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board and the construction unit to organize the installation of 18-ton weight limit signs on the CV1C ramp branch; arrange forces to be on duty, monitor and guide traffic 24/24h, especially during rush hour to avoid congestion.
Regularly update and evaluate the traffic situation at the CV1C ramp branch and the area of traffic routes and surrounding intersections to propose solutions to adjust traffic organization in the area.
Along with that, the Hanoi Department of Construction requested the Traffic Police Department - City Police to arrange forces to coordinate in guiding and regulating traffic in the CV1C ramp branch area and surrounding routes and intersections, and handle vehicles that violate regulations.
The Hanoi City Traffic Management and Operation Center informs bus operators in case of congestion to change direction to Minh Khai Street.
