Ha Tinh Ha Tinh province has mobilized more than 144 billion VND to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area in 2025.

On March 12, information from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province said that out of a total amount of more than 144 billion VND, the Fund for the Poor received 37.6 billion VND, the Hanoi People's Committee supported 50 billion VND, the 5% savings in regular expenditure in 2024 were more than 51.1 billion VND.

According to the decision approving No. 480 dated March 5, 2025 of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province on implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area, in 2025, the whole province will eliminate 1,374 houses.

Of which, 1,064 new houses were built (492 poor households, 572 near-poor households); 310 houses were repaired (157 poor households, 153 near-poor households). The support level for building a new house is 70 million VND/house; repairing 30 million VND/house. The total support budget is more than 83.7 billion VND.

Implementing the policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Ha Tinh province in 2025, the whole province of Ha Tinh must eliminate more than 2,000 temporary and dilapidated houses. Of which, 1,374 houses are temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households alone, the rest are houses of policy households and meritorious people.

According to regulations, for houses of poor and near-poor households, social resources must be mobilized for implementation, while houses for policy families and meritorious people must use the budget to implement.

Ha Tinh province also set a goal of completing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area before May 19, 2025.

Previously, sharing with Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, Mr. Tran Nhat Tan - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province affirmed that regarding the socialized mobilization source, Ha Tinh province will mobilize enough, even exceeding the amount of more than 83 billion VND to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area in 2025.

Mr. Tan also informed that in addition to the support of 70 million VND/house for new construction according to the Central Government's regulations, Ha Tinh also mobilizes relatives, people, and relatives to support and mobilize organizations, armed forces, and youth unions to participate in working days.

Therefore, each house when built can be worth from 150 million - 200 million VND to ensure stability, meet living needs, and cope with harsh weather, many rains and storms in the Central region.

According to the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province, from 2021 to now, the whole province of Ha Tinh has mobilized and supported the construction of nearly 8,500 houses with a total cost of more than 566 billion VND for poor households, near-poor households and disadvantaged households in the area.

Therefore, currently, implementing the policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area in 2025, the number of houses that need to be rebuilt and repaired in Ha Tinh is not much anymore.
