According to the leader of Duc Quang Commune People's Committee, the locality has conducted a survey of the scope of site clearance and preliminary statistics on the area of residential land and agricultural production land affected by the North-South high-speed railway project.
After reviewing, the entire railway commune passes through with a length of 3.36km, requiring the recovery of nearly 29 hectares of land of all kinds, of which 17 households have to be relocated and resettled.
The commune's compensation and site clearance council has also grasped the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of affected households and implemented site clearance steps according to regulations.
According to Mr. Hoang Xuan Hung - Chairman of Duc Quang Commune People's Committee, in the immediate future, for 17 households that had to be relocated to serve the project, the locality has basically agreed on a suitable resettlement location, ensuring long-term life and activities for the people.

In Ha Huy Tap ward, through a preliminary review, the North-South high-speed railway project passing through the area is 9.1 km long, affecting 1,028 plots of land with an area of about 71 hectares, of which 207 households have to be relocated and resettled.
Currently, this locality has planned to choose to build the first resettlement area in Lien Vinh residential group (old Thach Dai commune) to implement the construction expected on August 19.
According to the Ha Tinh Department of Construction, the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis passes through 18 communes and 5 wards of this province with a total length of about 103.42km. Currently, localities planned to have a high-speed railway line passing through are taking steps in site clearance, inventory of assets, architectural works, and ensuring the rights of the people.
According to preliminary statistics, to serve the North-South high-speed railway project, Ha Tinh province must reclaim nearly 765 hectares of land of all kinds. The province plans to build 35 resettlement areas to serve the relocation and resettlement of affected people.
The province has established a steering committee, organized many meetings, assigned specific tasks to relevant departments, branches, localities, and units, focusing on implementing site clearance work, striving to hand over at least 80% of the site clearance area to investors by December 2026.
