Previously, in order to proactively ensure traffic safety and order during the holidays of April 30, May 1 and the summer tourist season of 2025, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Deputy Head of the City Traffic Safety Committee Nguyen Duc Tho issued a directive in Document No. 3136/VP-GT requesting departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of districts to seriously implement related tasks.
Accordingly, localities and units assigned to the task need to review and update work plans to ensure traffic order and safety; assign specific and clear tasks; focus on managing and controlling common traffic violations during the holidays, especially on routes, areas and times with high risk of accidents or traffic congestion.
Units integrate the content of ensuring traffic order and safety into the organization of transportation, tourism, and resorts activities in the area; arrange 24/7 on-duty forces throughout the holiday. Coordination and information exchange between functional forces on duty to ensure increased traffic order and safety to improve the effectiveness of handling arising situations.
Departments, branches, localities and relevant agencies and units are responsible for announcing hotline phone numbers to receive and promptly handle people's feedback on traffic conditions during the holiday.
The city requires all levels, sectors, localities and functional forces to seriously and synchronously deploy tasks to ensure safe and smooth traffic, serving the travel, entertainment and tourism needs of the people during the holidays and summer of 2025.
