On the morning of December 22, in Khanh Hoa, Naval Region 4 organized the handover of 52 fishermen in distress on fishing boat QNa 91917 TS to their families and local authorities, after the Navy and units coordinated to rescue and bring them safely to the mainland.
Before that, the Truong Sa 22 ship (Float 411 Squadron, Brigade 955, Naval Region 4) safely docked at Cam Ranh base. Representatives of the leaders, Navy Region 4, officers and soldiers of the Truong Sa 22 ship and other authorities directly visited and encouraged the fishermen in distress.

According to information from Naval Region 4, on December 17, 2025, the unit received a distress signal from fishing boat QNa 91917 TS that caught fire while fishing in the area of coordinates 11°47N, 116°07E, in Truong Sa Special Zone, Khanh Hoa Province. At the time of the incident, there were 52 fishermen on board.
Immediately after receiving the information, Naval Region 4 urgently coordinated with the Coast Guard Region 2 Command and the Border Guard Commands of Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Gia Lai provinces and Da Nang city to deploy measures to protect fishing vessels, organize search and rescue.
On the same day, the fishing boat with registration number Dak Lak 90779 TS, operating near the incident area, approached and rescued all 52 fishermen on fishing boat QNa 91917 TS.
At 7:00 a.m. on December 18, the Coast Guard ship received the fishermen and brought them to Song Tu Tay Island, arriving at 9:00 p.m. the same day. On December 20, 2025, the Truong Sa 22 ship continued to move, bringing all 52 fishermen to the mainland.
After ensuring absolute safety for people and vehicles, at 8:00 a.m. on December 22, the Truong Sa 22 ship docked at Cam Ranh port, handing over 52 fishermen to the Da Nang Border Guard Command, fishermen's families and local authorities in accordance with regulations.
