According to the reporter's investigation, Cao Bang province is implementing two key transport projects including the Quang Uyen town bypass (Quang Hoa district) and the Xuan Hoa town bypass (Ha Quang district), to reduce inner-city traffic pressure, conveniently connect between regions and promote local socio-economic development.
The Quang Uyen town bypass project is a level I traffic project, belonging to group B, using public investment capital managed by Cao Bang province, with the People's Committee of Quang Hoa district as the investor. The project has a total investment of 200 billion VND, of which 32.7 billion VND is for compensation, support and resettlement; 130.1 billion VND is for construction costs. The implementation period lasts from 2022 to 2025.


The route has a starting point at Km0+00, connected to Highway 3 at Km309+050 (Phuc Sen commune), the end point at Km4+850, connected to the provincial road 206 at Km3+550 (Quang Uyen town). In particular, the middle section of about 1.55 km is designed according to urban main street standards; The remaining two sections of 3.3 km are built according to the standard of mountain level III roads. The project has a bridge across the Bac Vong River at Km4+637.73, the bridge width of 10m.

Started in March 2024, the project was constructed by a joint venture of Dong Duong Company Limited and ACC - 244 Joint Stock Company with a contract period of 22 months. To date, the project has been allocated more than 97.4 billion VND, of which more than 91.3 billion VND has been disbursed. Recorded at the construction site, items such as roadbed excavation and bridge construction are being urgently deployed, workers and machinery are working continuously to ensure progress.
In Ha Quang district, the Xuan Hoa town bypass road is also being accelerated. The project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for phase 1 with a total investment of 200 billion VND, the route length is about 6.75 km. According to the plan, the project will be completed in 2025.


On May 13, the reporter noted at the scene that the contractor was mobilizing vehicles to dig and fill the roadbed, especially the section from Truong Ha commune.
According to Mr. Tran Quoc Hoat - Director of the Ha Quang District Investment and Construction Project Management Board, the construction progress has reached about 25%, with the contractor constructing as much as possible. The locality is focusing on site clearance to create conditions for the project to be constructed on schedule.

Local people expressed their excitement at the project's progress. Mr. Nong Trung Kien, residing in Ha Quang district, shared: "They are building a bypass connecting Truong Ha commune with Xuan Hoa town. After the road is completed, travel will be very convenient, not having to go around as far as before".
The two bypass projects not only contribute to reducing the load on central routes but also create development momentum for mountainous communes, gradually completing the transportation system of Cao Bang province.
