On the evening of March 8, the People's Committee of Dak Mil district, Dak Nong province informed that an incident had just occurred in the area where a couple tragically died in their family's coffee plantation.
Accordingly, on the same afternoon, Mr. Y. Q (born in 1987, residing in Thuan An commune, Dak Mil district) and his wife, Ms. H.T (born in 1990) went to the family's farm.
At around 4:30 p.m. the same day, people discovered the couple dead in the field and reported it to the authorities.
According to initial information, the couple went into the field to remove the surveillance camera mounted on a high iron tree.
During the process of removing the camera, the iron tree unfortunately collided with the power grid, causing a gust of electricity. The accident caused both husband and wife to die on the spot.
The authorities have handed over the victim's body to the family for funeral arrangements.
