On the evening of October 30, authorities in Lam Dong continued to collect information and clarify the cause of the tragic accident that occurred in the area.
Initial information, the accident occurred at around 2:20 p.m. the same day on Provincial Road 725, the section passing through Con O Pass connecting My Duc Commune (Da Teh District) with Loc Bac Commune (Bao Lam District).

At the above time, Mr. K' Thiep (24 years old, residing in Da Nhar village, Quoc Oai commune, Da Teh district) was driving a motorbike on Provincial Road 725 from Loc Bac commune (Bao Lam district) to My Duc commune (Da Teh district).
When the motorbike driven by Mr. K' Thiep reached km 145+150 of Con O pass, in village 7, My Duc commune, Da Teh district, it collided with the motorbike driven by Mr. Phan Van Kien (40 years old, residing in village 1, B'La commune, Bao Lam district), carrying his wife, Ms. Lam Thi Tuoi (35 years old).

As a result, Mr. Phan Van Kien died at the scene, while his wife died on the way to the hospital. Mr. K’ Thiep was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital by locals. The two motorbikes were deformed and crushed in the front.
After the accident, Da Teh district authorities were present at the scene to regulate traffic and examine the scene, investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
