The project to build the Bac Kan city road - Ba Be lake connecting to Na Hang, Tuyen Quang has a total length of 37km with a total investment of more than VND 3,800 billion. Part of the project was completed and opened to traffic at the end of April.
The section through Da Vi commune, Na Hang district, Tuyen Quang province is 7.26 km long, the scale of a grade IV mountainous road is currently in the stage of roadbed and bridge construction on the route.
The total number of households within the scope of land clearance (GPMB) for land and assets on the land is 105 households with an expected land area of 27.74 hectares. However, there are still some construction locations that have not been handed over. This is required by the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province to be completed before June 30, 2025.


On May 10, speaking with reporters, Mr. Chau Van Bich - Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Vi commune - said that the locality is coordinating with relevant agencies to resolve problems to hand over the site for the project.
"There are still 24/82 households that have not received property support money on the land. These households use land in the records of the hydropower reservoir area recovery. The locality is mobilizing households to receive money, dismantle assets, and at the same time develop a plan to enforce against cases of intentional delay," Mr. Bich informed.
For the Ho Chi Minh Road Project, the Cho Chu (Thai Nguyen) - Trung Son Intersection (Tuyen Quang) section is 29km long, with a total investment of more than 1,600 billion VND. The route started construction in June 2024.
Of which, 17.1 km passing through Yen Son district, Tuyen Quang province, 17.1 km long, is currently being mobilized by the contractor to build a site. After 1 year of construction, many locations of roadbeds, bridges, and culverts on the route have been formed,
According to information from the People's Committee of Yen Son district, the total expected reclaimed area is 61.6 hectares with 105 resettlement plots in Trung Son and Hung Loi 70 communes.
Yen Son district has approved a compensation plan for households and individuals of 106.1 billion VND, reaching 100% of the area to be recovered. Currently, VND100.1 billion has been paid. The construction of 2 resettlement areas to serve the project is expected to be completed in May 2025.

The relocation and return plan for power and telecommunications works on the route has also been approved with a total amount of 11.1 billion VND. These items are required to be relocated before May 15.
At the inspection of the progress of compensation for site clearance for the Ho Chi Minh road project on May 9, Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan - Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province - requested relevant units to speed up the progress of site clearance, relocate works, and promptly hand over the entire site to the construction unit.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan also suggested that Yen Son district should be flexible in arranging temporary accommodation for households subject to relocation and resettlement, to give land to the project. Speed up the construction of resettlement areas so that people can soon stabilize their lives.
