According to the content recorded in clips and images posted on social networks, in the Thanh Bong village cemetery area (Thanh Nghi commune, Thanh Liem district), many tombs were buried and broken by large, monolithic rocks, along with deep subsidence and long slides due to rocks falling down and being lifted up.
Many people around are crying to find the graves of the deceased relatives. Not far from the scene is the image of a rocky mountain collapsed after a business blast.

Under the posts, there were hundreds of comments and shares surrounding this incident. Facebook account owner A.L (residing in Thanh Bong village, Thanh Nghi commune, Thanh Liem district) - one of the people who shared and posted the incident on social media - said that her father's grave was broken by a large rock falling from a cliff.
"There are many newly buried tombs that have not been built but have been uprooted and lost and have not been found. On the evening of March 18, families with graves of relatives in the cemetery invited priests to come home to hold a ceremony," said Ms. A.L.
Regarding the incident, at noon on March 19, responding to Lao Dong reporter, the leader of Thanh Liem District People's Committee confirmed that the above incident occurred in the area. Currently, the People's Committee of Ha Nam province and the Ha Nam Provincial Police have stepped in to investigate the cause, determine the level of impact, damage and propose a solution and handling.

According to Thanh Bong village residents, the incident occurred after the blasting and quarrying activities of Trang Huy Mineral Company Limited.
Previously, in April 2023, through monitoring the blasting activities, the authorities discovered that Trang Huy Mineral Company Limited violated safety standards during the use of industrial explosives.
The monitoring team then drew up a record of administrative violations, Trang Huy Mineral Company Limited complied and committed to comply with the standards to ensure safety.
