At about 7:40 p.m. on March 17, on Co Linh Street, Long Bien Ward (Long Bien District), a fire broke out fiercely from a house at the head of Alley 206. The authorities dispatched three fire trucks and professional firefighters to the scene to control the fire.
Speaking to reporters, Mr. Ngo Van Nam - Chairman of the People's Committee of Long Bien Ward, Long Bien District, Hanoi City - said that the ward had mobilized 30 people from the local fire prevention and fighting force to the scene to coordinate with the authorities to put out the fire.
According to Mr. Nam, the fire did not cause any human casualties. The cause of the fire is being verified and clarified by the authorities.
