This year's National Day, September 2, coincides with the weekend and lasts 4 days, so many families choose to go on vacation or visit historical sites.
Many people and tourists have chosen Kim Lien National Special Relic Site (Nam Dan, Nghe An) - the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh as the destination for many of these special occasions.
“I have visited Uncle Ho’s hometown many times and want to return many more times, with my family members. September 2nd is the day President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, which has become a sacred National Day, so this occasion to visit his hometown is very meaningful” - Mr. Le Van Thang (residing in Hoang Mai district - Hanoi) shared.

Coming to Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, people and tourists will visit many places such as Sen Village, Hoang Tru Village, Chung Son Temple, Hoang Thi Loan's tomb... with many original relics, original artifacts, and places associated with the hometown, family, and childhood of President Ho Chi Minh.
Many people bring their children to visit Uncle Ho's hometown. This is also an opportunity for children to visit Uncle Ho's hometown before starting the new school year.
Here, the children listened to the staff tell touching stories about the homeland, family, life and career of beloved Uncle Ho.
On this occasion, many locals and tourists wore red shirts with yellow stars printed on them to visit Uncle Ho's hometown. People offered Uncle Ho incense sticks and fresh bouquets of flowers.

To serve domestic and international delegations, tourists and people coming to offer incense, flowers and report to President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of National Day, the Management Board of Kim Kien Relic Site mobilized 100% of its staff to work throughout the holiday.
“Kim Lien National Special Relic Site has long been a "red address" sought by many locals and tourists from all over the world. It is expected that Uncle Ho's hometown will welcome nearly 3,000 delegations and tens of thousands of visitors during the National Day holiday, so all cadres, civil servants and employees of the Relic Site are highly focused on political tasks" - said Mr. Nguyen Bao Tuan - Director of Kim Lien National Special Relic Site.
