On the morning of November 6, Ms. Dang Thu Ha - Principal of Quang Trung Secondary School - confirmed the incident that occurred on the afternoon of November 5 between two male students in the same class.
"After the incident, the school and the family took the injured student to the emergency room. Initially, he suffered soft tissue damage. That night, he was transferred to Viet Duc Hospital for examination, and this morning he returned to Lao Cai General Hospital No. 1 for monitoring," Ms. Ha informed.
According to Ms. Ha, these two students are close friends, both with good academic performance and conduct.
At school, the students did not show any unusual signs or hyperactivity. Whether you have a disease or not, the professional agency will determine, the Principal added.
According to the school, the families of the two students have a close relationship. After the incident, the male student's father threw his friend into the lake and proactively took his child to the police station to report.
Quang Trung Secondary School is coordinating with the police and relevant agencies to verify the cause, clarify the motive of the incident, and stabilize the psychology of students in the class.
As reported by Lao Dong, at around 4:00 p.m. on November 5, in the area of Cung Nhi Lake (Yen Bai Ward, Lao Cai Province), a fight broke out between two male students studying in class 8E at Quang Trung Secondary School.
Here, the male student wearing a blue uniform jacket used a weapon to attack the other male student; then, he tried to use force to push his friend into the lake and left.
A few minutes after being swept into the water, the victim was fortunate to be discovered by people passing by and pulled up with many wounds on his body.
