In addition to the projects that have been put into use in the past, from now until Tet, Ho Chi Minh City plans to officially open 10 more projects to serve the people. Among them, there are typical projects such as Ba Hom Bridge, Tan Ky Tan Quy Bridge in Binh Tan District.
According to the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Traffic Works in Ho Chi Minh City, the project is currently entering the final stage of completion, with the goal of opening to traffic on January 26, 2025.
Ba Hom Bridge, once completed, will not only reduce traffic congestion but also create conditions for economic development in Binh Tan district.
Also at the western gateway, the Tan Ky Tan Quy bridge project, which had been interrupted for many years, has restarted since June 21, 2024. To date, this bridge has been basically completed, and is expected to open to traffic on January 20, 2025. The biggest difficulty during the construction process was the delay in moving technical infrastructure and the limitation of material transportation, but this problem has been resolved thanks to the timely direction of the city.
Many people around the area could not hide their excitement when they heard that Tan Ky Tan Quy bridge was about to open to traffic. Ms. My Quynh, a resident who often travels here, said: "I have been passing by here these past few days and seeing that the bridge is almost completed, everyone is hoping that it will open to traffic in time for Tet to make traveling easier. This area has always been congested with traffic, which is very inconvenient."
In the context of thousands of people waiting every day, construction units are "racing" against time, increasing human resources and construction equipment day and night to complete the projects as scheduled.
