On October 19, according to information from the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity of Hoa Binh province, in the first 9 months of 2024, the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity in the province continued to be resolutely led and directed.
Party committees, party organizations, and functional agencies have promoted a sense of responsibility and seriously implemented many tasks, and completed them according to the set plan; the work of detecting and handling corruption and negativity continues to be promoted, synchronously, and urgently, contributing to maintaining political stability and consolidating the trust of cadres, party members, and people.
The Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity of Hoa Binh province and its members conducted 6 inspections and supervisions at units.
Party committees at all levels inspected signs of violations in 15 party organizations and 60 party members. Through inspection, it was concluded that 15 party organizations and 59 party members had violated the law, of which 5 party organizations and 12 party members had violated the law to the extent of being subject to disciplinary action.
The province conducted 77 administrative inspections and 105 specialized inspections and checks. The inspections discovered economic violations of VND46,533 billion, of which VND8,192 billion was decided to be returned to the state budget, VND38,341 billion was handled in other cases, and 204 collectives and 357 individuals were found to have violated the regulations.
Investigation agencies at all levels of the Provincial Police have investigated 30 cases and 62 suspects related to corruption and negativity.
The People's Procuracy at 2 provincial levels handled and investigated 46 cases/151 defendants; the Provincial People's Court tried 37 cases/126 defendants. The cases were considered and resolved in accordance with the provisions of the law, ensuring the right person, the right crime, strictness, no wrongful convictions, no criminals missed.
