Recorded in many fields in Dai Loc commune, Da Nang city, many hectares of crops such as papaya, corn, okra, Malabar spinach, ... were flooded, broken, many areas were buried in thick, thick mud.

After many days submerged in floodwaters, the papaya trees with fruit are now collapsed, with broken trunks and mud stains.

Okra and Malabar spinach trees are flooding, withered, and their fruit is covered with young mud and cannot be harvested. The scene of devastated rice fields makes people feel sorry when they take care of them, which is considered a total loss.

Ms. Tran Thi Bang, a resident of Dai Loc commune (Da Nang city), her family grows nearly 3 hectares of papaya in the harvest season, but after the recent flood, the entire area was washed away by water, the rest were severely damaged. Not only were crops lost, but their property was also deeply submerged in water.

"A few hectares of papaya are considered lost, the furniture in the house is damaged, and the chickens and ducks are also flooded. In the past few days, the water has receded to clean up the house and furniture, going out to the fields, I can only see mud and garbage, there is nothing to save.

The care for several months was over when the water flowed. I didn't expect this flood to be so big," Ms. Bang said sadly.

According to local people, the heavy rain caused flooding for many days, causing the water to rise quickly but recede slowly, the crops were soaked in water for too long, so most of them were rotten and severely damaged. The rest will turn yellow and Vanish if the sun rises, unable to recover.

According to preliminary statistics from the People's Committee of Da Nang City, during the recent flood, the whole city had 12 deaths, 4 missing people and 47 injured people.
Regarding agriculture, 55 hectares of rice, 718 hectares of vegetables and 73 hectares of annual crops were damaged; 167 hectares of aquaculture were affected and about 350 tons of food were washed, moist, or damaged.
