As one of the key projects in the Northern mountainous region, the project of the road connecting National Highway 3 to Dinh Hoa Security Relic (Thai Nguyen) is completing the final items, expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.
On May 27, Lao Dong Newspaper's reporter noted that most of the road surface of the entire route has been paved with asphalt. People and vehicles are starting to move easily.

Three of the four hard bridges on the route have been completed to replace the old, narrow bridge.
In particular, the Tin Keo bridge project is under construction. The approach roads on both sides are also in the phase of spreading crushed stone before being paved with asphalt.
The project has a total length of more than 20km, starting at Quan Vuong intersection (Km14+000 on National Highway 3C), ending at Tuyen Quang province.
This is a grade III mountainous road, with an 8m wide road surface, 9m roadbed, designed speed of 60km/h, and a 7cm thick layer of asphalt concrete.
The project is invested with a total cost of 302 billion VND, invested by the Thai Nguyen Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.

The project to upgrade and expand the road from Km31 (QL.3) to Dinh Hoa ATK Relic is divided into 6 packages with 2 phases.
In which, phase 1 will construct the section Km21+231.5-Km33+600, divided into 3 packages, starting construction in October 2021.
Phase 2, construction from Km18+500-Km21+231.5 will be implemented from December 26, 2024, within 270 days.
As of mid-Q2/2025, in package 1, the construction unit has paved 3.7/5.6km of the route with asphalt concrete. The rest has been layered with a base layer and will continue to be paved with asphalt.
Package No. 2 has completed the section from Km18+500 to Km21+231.5 and handed over for use. The remaining packages have also been basically completed.
According to the Thai Nguyen Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, contractors are currently focusing on and urgently constructing the approach road, with the goal of completing the entire project by the end of May.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Ma Doan Thanh - Vice Chairman of Phu Dinh Commune People's Committee (Dinh Hoa) said that the project through the commune is about 7km long and has now been basically completed.
When completed, the route will help facilitate travel, creating motivation for the Binh Hoa Border Guard Station to fully promote its potential and strengths in historical and ecological tourism.
