On November 22, Gianh Port Border Guard Station (Quang Binh Border Guard) said that it had just mobilized forces together with families and local authorities to promptly support pulling fishing boat QB - 98179TS and 4 fishermen safely ashore.
Previously, at 10:10 p.m. on November 21, the unit received a report from Mr. Hoang Chi Cuong (in Quang Minh commune, Ba Don town), the owner and captain of fishing boat QB - 98179TS, and 4 crew members on their way to sea to fish.
Arriving near buoy number 0, about 2 nautical miles from shore, the rudder slipped and the ship could not be controlled. The ship dropped anchor to handle the situation. However, due to water entering the ship, the ship owner requested assistance.
Upon receiving the news, Giang Port Border Guard Station prepared forces and vehicles to support the fishermen.
Due to big waves and shallow water, vehicles cannot exit the door.
At 9:20 a.m. on November 22, the unit mobilized the QB - 98789TS ship of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh (in Quang Phuc ward, Ba Don town) as captain, along with 4 fishermen, 12 officers of the reinforced working group of the Provincial Border Guard Command and Gianh Port Border Guard Station to support and rescue the QB - 98179TS ship to shore safely.
