The job market is increasingly diverse
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong - Director of the Employment Service Center (Department of Home Affairs of Gia Lai province) - said that in the past time, the unit has focused on supporting job creation for workers, especially poor households, near-poor households, workers whose land has been reclaimed, ethnic minorities and cases in difficult circumstances.

In 2025, the Center organized 126 periodic, mobile job fairs and job fairs, attracting 12,900 workers and more than 3,000 recruitment units to participate.

"The number of employees registered to find jobs at the trading sessions reached 4,680 people. The center has directly introduced and provided jobs to 2,050 cases. This is an outstanding growth rate compared to previous years thanks to promoting communication work, said Ms. Huong.
In particular, with the coordination of the authorities of 77 communes and wards in the western area of Gia Lai, 200 workers have been supported to work abroad for a limited period.

Of which: Korea with 90 people, Japan with 106 people, Taiwan with 2 people and Europe with 2 people. Most of the exported workers are young, skilled and have high incomes, contributing to improving the lives of many households.
Communication changes awareness
According to the Gia Lai Provincial Employment Service Center, communication and vocational training under the National Target Program for poor and near-poor workers in rural, mountainous areas and ethnic minority areas plays a very important role.
Communication helps people clearly understand the meaning of vocational training and improving skills to meet the requirements of businesses. When there is skill, workers can easily find jobs; when businesses have stable human resources, production and business will develop.

In reality, in communes such as Ia Phi, Dak Doa, Chu Se, Ia Grai... vocational training classes have contributed to changing the thinking and raising awareness of ethnic minority workers.
In Gia Lai, many units such as the Center for Continuing Education, Forestry University, Gia Lai Vocational College... have organized vocational training for hundreds of workers, creating many new job opportunities.
Recently, the People's Committee of Ia Phi commune opened vocational training classes on civil electricity and durian growing techniques. Lecturers directly go to villages and hamlets to encourage people to participate in learning, distributing documents guiding the techniques of planting and caring for durian to meet standards and supporting seedlings.

People in Ia Phi commune are excited and happy to participate in vocational training, actively apply organic farming techniques, limit pesticides to meet market demand.
When mastering organic agricultural knowledge, local workers will have more advantages in applying for jobs at seed production facilities, durian growing enterprises, and coffee export enterprises in the area.
