Sand sandals are becoming more and more sophisticated and reckless according to Mr. Nguyen Lam - Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai City People's Committee, in recent years, the functional forces have discovered and handled 21 cases of sand trading and transporting unknown origin in Tinh An commune, including 13 cases of trading and 8 transport cases.
Exhibits seized include: 18 cars, 7 tricycles, 1 excavator, 5 sand suction rafts, 15m straw and 32m³ of sand.

"The People's Committee of Quang Ngai City has sent a document to the provincial police, proposing to strengthen the direction, organization of patrol, control and implementation of strong professional measures to suppress, block and strictly handle illegal mineral exploitation acts - especially during the time the subjects take advantage of the dark night and the long rainy weather to commit violations" - Mr. Nguyen Lam informed.
