It is known that the total herd of cattle in Dak Plo commune is currently about 6,199, of which the buffalo and cow numbers are about 4,599; pigs are about 1,600.
foot-and-mouth disease is considered by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) as the most dangerous infectious disease of all infectious diseases in livestock in general and in pigs in particular.
The danger of foot-and-mouth disease is due to the possibility of spreading very quickly and spreading widely through the air. The virus can spread through the air with a radius of kilometers, so when the disease broke out, the damage to livestock farmers was huge.
