Urgently evacuate 1 household from landslide area in Lam Dong

Lam Dong - Loc Thanh Commune, Bao Lam District has just urgently evacuated a household from the landslide area to ensure safety.

On the afternoon of October 7, the People's Committee of Loc Thanh commune received a report from local people about a landslide in an area in village 8B.

After receiving the information, the People's Committee of Loc Thanh commune quickly coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Bao Lam district to be present and record the scene.

Immediately, the authorities deployed measures to ensure the safety of property and lives of people in the area.

Through inspection, it was found that on the residential road in village 8B (Loc Thanh commune), there was a landslide on the embankment 6 - 8m high.

The landslide caused dozens of cubic meters of soil to spill onto the road, threatening the house of Ms. Trieu Thi Hanh's family below.

According to local authorities, functional agencies..., the landslide site continues to have long cracks.

Currently, soil on the embankment is still falling onto the road, endangering Ms. Hanh's family and people passing by.

After assessing the landslide, the People's Committee of Loc Thanh commune proactively supported Ms. Trieu Thi Hanh's family to move out of the dangerous area to ensure safety.

In addition, authorities also barricaded both ends of the road to warn people not to pass through the landslide area.

In particular, the People's Committee of Loc Thanh commune reported and proposed the People's Committee of Bao Lam district to deploy landslide prevention plans to ensure the safety of people's lives in the above area.
