On November 2, Ga Ry Border Guard Station coordinated with the Hung Son commune government to relocate assets and support 6 households in A Ting village to safe locations because this area has many dangerous landslides.
Heavy rain that has lasted for many days has caused the soil and rocks on the mountainside behind the residential area of A Ting village to be water-absorbed, soft and showing signs of subsidence. As soon as the risk was detected, local border guards and militia quickly arrived, helping people move furniture, livestock and temporarily reinforce some vulnerable locations.

Ga Ry Border Guard Station said it will continue to send forces on duty 24/7 in high-risk areas, coordinate with local authorities to monitor the landslide situation and be ready to deploy rescue plans when necessary.
