On the morning of November 2, a working delegation of Khanh Hoa province led by Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh visited, shared and presented 2 billion VND in support to help Da Nang city overcome the consequences of the recent historic floods.
The delegation was welcomed by Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Tri Thanh.
At the meeting, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh deeply shared the difficulties and losses that the Da Nang government and people are facing after the severe flood.
The Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the proactive spirit and bravery of a dynamic and disciplined city when Da Nang has implemented many synchronous and drastic response measures; mobilized the entire political system to participate, organized timely evacuation, rescue, and relief, leaving no people behind.
Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh emphasized that the donation of 2 billion VND is not only a material support, but also a demonstration of the solidarity and sharing of the Party Committee, government and people of Khanh Hoa province to Da Nang - a friend and brother in the immediate Central region.
Yesterday, the working delegation of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee also visited, encouraged and presented 3.5 billion VND in support to Hue city and Quang Tri province to help overcome the consequences of the recent prolonged floods.
