Khanh Hoa - Faced with damage caused by floods, the locality is focusing on stabilizing people's lives and restoring production and business activities.

On November 29, the authorities of Khanh Hoa province are still focusing on reconstruction after floods.

Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee affirmed that the most important task at present is to fully and promptly implement support policies so that no one goes hungry, lacks necessities or lacks health care.

Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary requested localities to complete the first round of support to stabilize life before November 30.

The distribution of essential goods must be scientific, avoiding the situation of surplus and shortage. Cash support must go to the right beneficiaries, absolutely do not let losses happen.

In particular, support students must be completed within the week. The zero-dong green vegetable stall models need to operate flexibly, suitable for the actual needs of the people.

Along with that, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee was assigned to coordinate with departments and branches to review and propose a resource allocation plan to implement the second phase to support people in flooded areas, ensuring no missing subjects.

According to a report by the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the whole province has 21,754 households affected by deep flooding.

The province has mobilized nearly 16,000 people from the armed forces, militia and 394 vehicles for rescue; organized the evacuation of 30,900 households with 118,839 people from the danger zone.

To promptly support the people, Khanh Hoa province has received and allocated 400 billion VND from the central budget; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province has received more than 200 billion VND to register for support, of which 89.1 billion VND has been transferred to the Relief Fund.

The province has received 2,000 tons of rice from national reserves; 10,000 gifts from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; more than 700 tons of essential goods from Ho Chi Minh City and many other localities; along with equipment and machinery supported by agencies, units and enterprises.

These resources are being allocated by the province in the direction of prioritizing severely damaged areas, ensuring that people soon overcome the difficult period, restore their lives and production.
