In October 2024, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, concurrently Head of the Working Group, gave instructions on difficulties and problems in establishing specific land prices to calculate compensation when the State acquires land.
Accordingly, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam requested the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa town to coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (TNMT) to be guided to hire a consulting unit to determine specific land prices; urgently issue a specific land price decision to serve as a basis for calculating compensation, support and resettlement.
Regarding the relocation of technical infrastructure (relocation of 220kV power line) of the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway project through Ninh Hoa town, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam requested the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa town to urgently deploy the relocation of technical infrastructure to complete the handover of the site to the project investor. Ninh Hoa town needs to send the plan to the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Transport, and members of the Working Group via the Zalo Working Group group to coordinate completion and implementation.
The above departments must also give their opinions through the Zalo Working Group at the request of the Ninh Hoa Town People's Committee and are responsible for supporting localities and construction units according to their assigned management functions; closely coordinate with specialized electricity agencies to have specific plans in the process of relocating the 220k line...
Regarding compensation, support, and site clearance for the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Phase 1 and the Project to build a rest stop at Km 334 +900 of the Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam requested the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa town to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Traffic Construction Project Management Board to update the detailed plan and schedule for compensation, support, and resettlement, and send it to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and members of the Working Group via Zalo group to get their comments.
In particular, members of the Working Group and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment have given their opinions through the Working Group Zalo group. Based on the opinions of the Working Group members and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa town synthesizes and completes the detailed plan and schedule to report to the Provincial People's Committee and send it to the Working Group for monitoring.
According to the report of Ninh Hoa Town People's Committee, as of October 8, 2024, the locality has basically completed the site clearance work for the main route of the Van Phong - Nha Trang component project under the North - South Expressway Construction Project, Eastern phase 2021 - 2025; handed over the site for 15/16 220kV line foundation positions affected by the Van Phong - Nha Trang component project; is implementing site clearance work to construct a rest stop at Km334+900...
For Component Project 1 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project, the Ninh Hoa Town People's Committee has approved the compensation plan for 846/1,038 affected cases. The remaining cases are undergoing compensation, support and resettlement procedures.
