On November 16, the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Khanh Hoa province informed about the results of the campaign at the launching ceremony to support the "For the Poor" Fund in 2024 and respond to the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Khanh Hoa province in 2025".
Statistics from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province show that currently, the locality still has 635 poor households, 487 near-poor households, and 345 households in difficult circumstances who do not have a house or live in temporary or dilapidated houses, in dire need of help and support for new construction and repair.
Through the campaign, the organizing committee received nearly 69 billion VND from individuals, organizations, businesses, banks... in the province. The entire mobilized budget will be used by the units to coordinate the construction of 705 new houses and repair more than 850 houses for people, reducing the poverty rate in the province.
Joining hands with the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for people on this occasion, Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company supported the construction of 20 houses, with a total value of 1.4 billion VND.
According to the leader of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company, in the past time, the unit has supported the construction of more than 70 houses for families in difficult circumstances with a total value of more than 5 billion VND. This is not only a commitment but also affirms the companionship with the community for sustainable development.
At the launching ceremony to support the "For the Poor" Fund in 2024, responding to the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Khanh Hoa province by 2025", which was recently organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province on the afternoon of November 15, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province affirmed that the locality is determined that by the end of 2025 there will be no more temporary and dilapidated houses.
To achieve that goal, the leaders of Khanh Hoa province called for the cooperation of agencies, organizations, units, businesses, philanthropists inside and outside the province and all classes of people in the province to have more resources. At the same time, they requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to urgently provide funds to people so that they can quickly have new houses before the Lunar New Year 2025.
