On June 6, the leader of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee informed about the implementation of a number of contents related to reviewing and resolving policies and regimes for employees working under labor contracts in agencies, organizations and units in the province.
Accordingly, for those working under labor contracts in job positions such as security guards, drivers, matchmakers, etc., the Provincial People's Committee agrees with the proposal of the Department of Home Affairs on reviewing and resolving early retirement or resignation from work that meet the prescribed standards.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to urgently issue documents guiding the standards and conditions for employees subject to consideration and settlement of early retirement or resignation according to the provisions of Decree No. 178, Decree No. 67, with accompanying examples for agencies, units and localities to implement.
Advising the Provincial People's Committee to approve the list of employees who retire early or quit their jobs according to regulations proposed by agencies, units and localities. In case of arising problems beyond their authority, promptly synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration.
For agencies, units, and localities, to ensure the rights of workers, the Provincial People's Committee requires the temporary termination of labor contracts for the group of supporting and serving job positions such as security guards, drivers, department stores, etc. until the arrangement and assignment of working offices and public service cars for agencies, organizations, units, and localities is completed according to regulations. Except in cases where employees voluntarily resign.
The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities review and arrange existing contract workers to work at the newly established commune-level People's Committees according to the requirements of each job position.
After the arrangement, if there is a surplus, the policy and regime will be considered for settlement according to Decree No. 178, Decree No. 67. Proactively review and determine the expected list of subjects working under labor contracts to propose resolving policies and regimes according to regulations and send it to the Department of Home Affairs for appraisal.
As of May 2025, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has reviewed and decided to resolve policies and regimes according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP for 105 cadres, civil servants and public employees under the government.
Of which, there are 75 cases of early retirement at the provincial and district levels and 8 cases of severance pay. The commune level has 13 cases of early retirement, 4 cases of resignation.
The total amount of money paid to 53/105 cases is more than 60 billion VND.
