Inauguration of the Phan Dinh Giot Hero Memorial

Ha Tinh - On the morning of March 13, the Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the People's Committee of Cam Xuyen district to organize the inauguration and receive the certificate of status as a provincial-level historical relic of the Phan Dinh Giot Hero Memorial.

At the ceremony, a ceremony was held to receive the certificate of recognition of the Phan Dinh Giot Hero Memorial as a provincial historical site; the procession was held to the Upper hall and the ribbon was cut to the dedication of the project.

The Phan Dinh Giot Monument to the People's Armed Forces Heroes started construction in February 2024 in Cam Quan Commune (Cam Xuyen District, Ha Tinh Province) with an investment of nearly 25 billion VND. After more than 1 year of construction, the project has been completed and put into operation.

From here, the project became a meaningful red address for people and the younger generation to visit, commemorate, and express gratitude to Hero Phan Dinh Giot. Thereby, educating the younger generation about the patriotic tradition.

The organization of the inauguration and receipt of the certificate of the ranking of the Provincial Historical Relic of the Phan Dinh Giot Heroic Monument aims to practically celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954); commemorate the 71st anniversary of the sacrifice of the Hero of the People's Armed Forces Phan Dinh Giot (March 13, 1954).
