On June 5, a serious fire broke out at a warehouse on Tan Thoi Nhi 1 Street, Tan Thoi Nhi Commune, Hoc Mon District, Ho Chi Minh City, burning down many properties inside. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
According to initial information, on the morning of the same day, people suddenly discovered smoke and fire flaring up fiercely from inside the warehouse. Immediately, people present at the warehouse and people from neighboring factories quickly mobilized fire extinguishers and pulled water hoses to put out the fire. However, the fire spread too quickly, engulfing the entire warehouse in a short time, causing all initial efforts to fail.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team (PCCC and CNCH) of Hoc Mon district mobilized many vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene. To serve the fire fighting work, a section of Tan Thoi Nhi 1 road, about 200 m long, has been blocked.
Firefighters divided into several directions to approach the fire, both put on fire and actively fight fireproofs to surrounding factories. Large -capacity pumps are also mobilized to pump water from nearby fire water pillars, enhancing the efficiency of fire extinguishing. At more than 9 am, the basic fire was controlled and the fire force left the scene.

According to local people, the burned warehouse has been operating for about a year on the leased premises. This place contains a variety of goods, from household items to many other types of assets. The fire completely burned down the assets inside the warehouse.
Currently, Tan Thoi Nhi Commune Police in coordination with Ho Chi Minh City Police continue to investigate to clarify the cause of the fire as well as calculate specific damage.
