Accordingly, on April 23, Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung chaired a meeting to listen to a report on the above content. Also attending the meeting were leaders of departments, branches, districts, Economic Zone Management Board, Project Management Boards, and related enterprises.
After listening to the Director of the Department of Construction reports and opinions of the delegates attending the meeting, Chairman Nguyen Van Tung concluded: Unifying the list of 12 works and projects expected to organize the commencement and inauguration of the same time, both directly and online to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong and the Flower Festival of the Red Phoenix - Hai Phong 2025.
Agree to organize a ceremony to inaugurate the Investment Project to build international container ports No. 3 and No. 4 at Hai Phong International Border Gate Port in a direct manner on May 13.
Assign the City People's Committee Office to preside over and work with the Hai Phong Civil and Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board to develop a detailed plan for the inauguration ceremony of the City Political - Administrative Center Construction Investment Projects and the City Conference - Exhibition Center Construction Investment Projects.
The Department of Construction will preside over and work with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant departments, districts, and enterprises to coordinate in organizing the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony to ensure compliance with regulations.
12 projects organized by Hai Phong City to start construction and inaugurate this phase include:
1. Inauguration of projects and works to build a model new rural commune in Dai Hop commune, Kien Thuy district.
2. Inauguration of the Investment Project for Construction and Business of Infrastructure of Tien Cuong II Industrial Cluster, Tien Lang District.
3. Inauguration of the Pegatron Vietnam Co., Ltd. Workers' Housing Project Phase 1 in Hai An District.
4. Starting construction of the Social Housing Project in Dong Hai 2 Ward, Hai An District.
5. Starting construction of the T2 Passenger Terminal Project and the Project to expand the aircraft parking lot - Cat Bi International Airport (phase 2), Hai An District.
6. Inauguration of the City Political - Administrative Center Project in Thuy Nguyen City.
7. Inauguration of the City Conference - Exhibition Center project in Thuy Nguyen City.
8. Starting the investment project to build a new urban area in Duong Kinh district and Kien Thuy district.
