Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were Major General Vu Quoc An, Deputy Political Commissar of the Border Guard; Ms. Giang Thi Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province and a large number of local people.
The construction of 6 schools in Pha Long, Trinh Tuong, and Y Ty communes is an activity of profound political and social significance, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and sharing of the officers and soldiers of the Lao Cai Provincial Border Guard in particular and the Border Guard Command in general towards compatriots and students in the border area.
Thereby, contributing to the implementation of the policies and guidelines of the Party, State and army on education, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, socio-economic development of ethnic minority, mountainous and border areas.

6 schools that have started construction include: Chu Lin Area School, A Lu Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Y Ty Commune; Cung Lung School, Ta Gia Khau Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Pha Long Commune; Xa Khai Tung Kindergarten, Su Ma Tung Ta Ngai Cho Kindergarten, Pha Long Commune; Sin Chai Kindergarten, Pha Long Kindergarten, Pha Long Commune; Seo Phin Than Kindergarten, Coc My Kindergarten, Trinh Tuong Commune.
The total value of the projects is more than 13.7 billion VND; the construction period is from November 2025 to the end of May 2026.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Vu Quoc An, Deputy Political Commissar of the Border Guard, emphasized: The construction of new, repaired, and equipped facilities for schools is a specific, practical work, with profound humanitarian meaning, demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" of the whole country towards the border of the Fatherland.

Building new schools and improving facilities and educational equipment will create a better and safer teaching and learning environment, ensuring living and learning conditions for students.
Ms. Giang Thi Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province also shared: The schools built are not only educational works, but also works of faith, of national solidarity, demonstrating the strong will of the border guard, the warm hearts of the people.

The spacious schools built will be the roof of knowledge, the place to nurture the dreams of children of ethnic minorities in the highlands; an environment to nurture young generations with knowledge, courage, aspiration and patriotism, contributing to building an increasingly rich and strong homeland.
