With the conversion of an area of 16,532 hectares of rubber trees to other purposes, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said that it must comply with the provisions of the Forestry Law and carry out replacement afforestation.
The conversion must be consistent with economic and social development planning, land use planning and actual local conditions.
