With the conversion of an area of 16,532 hectares of rubber trees to other purposes, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said that it must comply with the provisions of the Forestry Law and carry out replacement afforestation.
The conversion must be consistent with economic and social development planning, land use planning and actual local conditions.
Speaking at the conference, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan said that Gia Lai province's authorities need to complete all documents, procedures, and project objectives to convert more than 16,000 hectares of rubber land. to other crops.
