Overcoming difficulties, improving people's lives
In recent years, Krong Nang district has gradually removed difficulties in effectively implementing the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2025.
In the 2021 - 2025 period, the district was allocated a total budget of more than 274 billion VND to implement projects.

Mr. Y Thanh Nie, in Ea Ho commune, Krong Nang district, shared: "My family was in a difficult situation about 5 years ago, trying so hard but still not having enough to eat. After that, local officials held hands to direct and guide the development of household economy".
"After 3 years of struggling to raise livestock and do many extra jobs, my family has had a better life than before. Without the support and support of the local government, we do not know how long my family's life would have been difficult," Mr. Y Thanh confided.

The leader of the People's Committee of Krong Nang district said: "In the first years of implementing the national target program, the district encountered many difficulties. Because people's awareness is still limited, people still maintain the old way of life, and many bad customs have not been erased".
According to the leader of the People's Committee of Krong Nang district, overcoming difficulties and challenges, in recent years, the locality has improved the lives of ethnic minorities. Thanks to the correct policies and regimes of the Party and State, the lives of people have been increasingly improved, and social evils have gradually decreased.
At the same time, people's awareness of law compliance has also been increasingly improved.
Enhancing the responsibility of cadres
According to statistics, the whole district of Krong Nang currently has 1,322 Party members who are ethnic minorities, accounting for 25.51%.
Of which, the Executive Committee of the Krong Nang District Party Committee has 8/41 cadres who are ethnic minorities, accounting for 19.51%. The Standing Committee of the Krong Nang District Party Committee has 2/11 cadres who are ethnic minorities, accounting for 18.1%.

Currently, Krong Nang district is aiming to basically complete essential projects by 2029, meeting the requirements of rural production development.
In particular, the district no longer has ethnic minority students dropping out of school and 100% of households have access to clean electricity and water. The traditional cultural values and identities of ethnic groups are preserved and developed.
To achieve this important task, cadres working in ethnic affairs at the grassroots level play an extremely important role.
Mr. Ho Minh Tuy - Head of the Ethnic Affairs Department of Krong Nang district - commented: "To effectively implement the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, the role of commune-level cadres is extremely important".
According to Mr. Tuy, cadres must continuously be close to the people, close to the people, grasp the aspirations of the people to propose to competent authorities for resolution.
In addition, cadres also play a very important role in becoming the core to propagate and disseminate the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws to the people.
"Each cadre must constantly set an example, practice, and enhance a sense of responsibility to complete assigned tasks. From there, each cadre, especially Party members, will be the motivation to support people in ethnic minority and mountainous areas to constantly change their awareness, gradually eliminate bad customs, and get rich legitimately," Mr. Tuy added.
