first frost appeared in Ta Xua in March

    Yen Bai - Every year, the top of Ta Xua mountain at an altitude of more than 2,800 m often has frost in winter. This is the first time this natural wonder has occurred in March.

    On March 19, the temperature in the mountainous district of Tram Tau, Yen Bai province dropped, with frost and ice appearing at the top of Ta Xua, Ban Cong commune.

    Mr. Dao Viet Nghiem - Chairman of Ban Cong Commune People's Committee - said that every year, Ta Xua still has ice, mainly in the winter. This is the first time people have seen ice form in March.

    Before that, in the early days of the Lunar New Year, ice appeared, covering the road to the top of Ta Xua mountain with white ice, creating a beautiful natural landscape.

    Ta Xua peak is 2,865m above sea level. This is the natural border mountain between Yen Bai and Son La provinces.
