Binh Duong ward, Ho Chi Minh City was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Hoa Phu, Phu My, Phu Tan wards of Thu Dau Mot city and Phu Chanh ward of Tan Uyen city of the old Binh Duong province.
The ward has a natural area of 58.157 km2, population of 107,576 people. Notably, in Binh Duong ward, there are 7 industrial parks and industrial clusters, with a large concentration of workers.
