On the afternoon of July 19, a storm that occurred before storm No. 3 (Wipha) approached the mainland caused part of the corrugated iron roof at Thuy Tien Kindergarten (Tu Minh Ward, Hai Phong City) to fly faster, fall onto the road and houses, causing traffic obstruction and potential safety risks.
As soon as the news was received, Mr. Le Van Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tu Minh Ward - was present at the scene, along with the Command Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of the ward to direct the urgent overcoming of the consequences.

The functional forces of Tu Minh ward coordinated with the school and local people to quickly clear the blown-out corrugated iron roof, inspect the area around the school gate, and request a review of the safety level of works in the area.
Ensuring the safety of people and vehicles is a top priority, especially in the context of complicated developments of Typhoon Wipha.
The Ward People's Committee continues to closely monitor the weather situation, proactively deploy response plans, and minimize damage caused by natural disasters.
