At noon on July 20, thunderstorms appeared widely in 30 wards, communes, and special areas in Ho Chi Minh City (old Ba Ria - Vung Tau province).
Recorded in Vung Tau ward, many trees in the area were broken, blocking the paths of some roads, affecting people's traffic, but there were no accidents.
In Ba Ria ward, there were also cases of some trees being broken. A large sign was blown away by the wind and lay across Bach Dang Street, fortunately not causing an accident.

At the Tran Hung Dao - Hung Vuong intersection (Phu My ward), a traffic accident occurred between cars with license plates 60L-6xx4 and 61K-25x.x1. After the collision, a car was overturned and lay in the middle of the road.
At the same time, while a fire broke out at a resident's house in Phu My ward during heavy rain, firefighters quickly arrived to extinguish the fire in time.
