Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival leaves a deep impression on visitors

Dak Lak - Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival has spread traditional cultural values, creating a deep impression on domestic and foreign tourists.

On the evening of March 13, at 10.3 Square, Buon Ma Thuot city held the Closing Ceremony of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025.

This year's coffee festival with the theme "Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of world coffee" takes place from March 9 to March 13, 2025.

The event was also held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Buon Ma Thuot Victory (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025).

The festival has 17 official activities and many response programs, attracting 28 international delegations with 188 delegates, along with many businesses, experts, and domestic and foreign tourists.

During the days of the festival, the festival left many impressions on domestic and foreign tourists with a series of activities imbued with cultural identity.

For example, the exhibition fair with 180 units and 435 booths attracted 175,000 visitors. The international trade conference has 730 delegates attending, promoting the connection and development of Vietnamese coffee. The emulation farmers' contest has the participation of 7 provinces across the country.

The coffee shop at the CADA plantation attracted 16 teams and more than 20,000 visitors. The 2025 Vietnamese specialty roasting coffee contest with 36 artisans from 13 provinces and cities.

In particular, localities in the province also organize traditional festivals such as the Buon Don elephant festival, the unique boat racing festival in Lak district...

Mr. Nguyen Thien Van, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, commented: "The success of the festival is a strong source of motivation for the province to strive for the goal of building Dak Lak to develop quickly, richly, civilizedly, and illegally.

Thereby, creating a solid foundation with the whole country entering the "New Era - the Era of the Vietnamese nation's rise".

According to the Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, on this occasion, Dak Lak province continues to honor Vietnamese coffee products, especially the brand and geographical indication of Buon Ma Thuot Coffee in the international arena.

The locality also promotes the development of high-quality coffee and specialty coffee. Investors have seen the potential and strengths of the province's trade promotion.

"Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival has spread traditional cultural values, solidarity and unity of ethnic groups in the province. This is also an opportunity to strengthen the solidarity and cooperation between Dak Lak province and localities of brotherhood countries and international organizations," added the Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee.

"Dak Lak Coffee Growing and Processing Knowledge" has been recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage. The success of the festival contributes to elevating the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee brand. At the same time, promote the economic and cultural development of Dak Lak province, towards building a prosperous Vietnam with identity in the international arena.
