At 6:00 a.m. on December 11, a traffic accident occurred on National Highway 1A through Hai Phu commune (Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province).
Passenger car with license plate 74F-001.xx was traveling from South to North when it collided with Mr. P.N.S (residing in Phu Hai commune, Hai Lang district) who was crossing the street.
After the collision, Mr. S died on the spot.
Previously, at around 7:00 p.m. on December 10, at Km9+600 of National Highway 9 (part of the Northern bypass) through Cam Lo town (Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province), a traffic accident also occurred. A car with license plate 74C-079.xx and a motorbike with license plate 74KL-58xx pulling a three-wheeled vehicle traveling in the same direction collided, killing the motorbike driver on the spot.
Quang Tri provincial authorities are investigating and clarifying the causes of the two accidents.
