Recently, Mr. Lo Van Cuong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention - Search and Rescue has requested that members of the Steering Committee, all levels, sectors and districts urgently review and deploy plans and scenarios for natural disaster prevention and control in accordance with the types, developments of natural disasters and specific local conditions.
In particular, special attention should be paid to proactive and drastic measures to reduce human losses caused by floods, flash floods, and landslides. The work of responding to and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters must closely follow the "four on-site" motto, mobilizing maximum forces and means to serve natural disaster prevention, avoidance, response, search and rescue and overcoming the consequences to ensure timeliness and efficiency to reduce damage to people.
Propaganda work to improve capacity, awareness and skills to respond to natural disasters for people needs to be carried out in many forms and in a timely manner.
