An orange snake model with a funny hat, graceful and unique appearance is becoming the center of attention.
This is the latest work of artisan Dinh Van Tam (born in 1990, residing in Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri), who has made a strong impression with Tet mascots such as tigers, cats and dragons in previous years.
With a height of 2m and a length of 2.5m, the snake model is placed in a flower garden on a hill, overlooking the poetic wind power field in the mountainous district of Huong Hoa (Quang Tri).
This work was made by order from a tourist area to decorate and celebrate the New Year of the Snake 2025. It took artist Tam 10 days to complete the model, combining creativity and inspiration from social networks.
Sharing about the crafting process, Mr. Tam said that creating the shape of the snake's head, especially the face and eyes, was the most challenging part. "To create the soul of the mascot, it requires meticulousness and great patience" - he shared.
As soon as it was released, the snake model created a fever on social networks. Many users expressed their admiration for the talent of artist Dinh Van Tam. Comments such as "The snake in Quang Tri is so cute and lively, so different from the usual image of snakes" or "Quang Tri will definitely win the Tet mascot race this year" continuously appeared on the posts.
In addition to this work, he and his team are also rushing to complete another model to display in Quang Tri province during this Tet holiday.
Not only stopping at snake mascots, artisan Dinh Van Tam has long been known as a person who brings vitality and uniqueness to Tet mascots.
