After a period of construction, the snake mascot in Dong Thap has been basically completed. Although it has not officially opened, but with its unique design and rich humanistic meaning, the image of the Dong Thap snake has caused a fever.
Still located right at the beginning of the Spring Flower Street in Cao Lanh City, the center of Dong Thap Province, like every year, but this year the snake mascot is designed in the image of a pair.
Moreover, from the idea of creating a lively curvy image, the design team was subtle in following those shapes and lines to create a stylized heart image.
The pair of snakes have their heads wrapped in scarves and wear conical hats designed from lotus leaves. This both personifies the mascot and honors the culture and traditions of the land known as the Land of Pink Lotus in the South.
These rounded details not only create soft, graceful curves, but also create a sense of friendliness... Thereby helping the mascot easily create sympathy, eliminating feelings of fear about animals famous for their venom... In particular, the image of two snakes leaning their heads on each other also symbolizes and suggests to viewers about solidarity, love and kindness.
Behind the mascot statue is a winding circle like a silk strip creating a majestic look. Therefore, the Dong Thap snake mascot not only brings a friendly feeling but also harmony, contributing to the perfection of the Spring flower street with the theme "Pink Lotus Breakthrough - Reaching for the Future".
