On the morning of November 2, many businesses on Hung Vuong Street (Duy Xuyen Commune, Da Nang City) were busy cleaning up and scraping young mud after the flood.

Too haunted by rising floodwaters, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dao (character's name has been changed, an employee of a fashion store on Hung Vuong Street) is cleaning up mud-lined furniture.
Ms. Dao and the staff this morning have focused on general cleaning and moving the store to stabilize business.

"A few days ago, floodwaters rose to the hips of adults, and many goods here were also wet. Today we are cleaning and sanitizing the entire store" - Ms. Dao said.

Not far away, Dung Phung electric motorbike shop (Hung Vuong street) is also using a water spray to clean the mud stuck to the floor. To avoid damage to goods, this store has built a solid iron frame to prevent all electric vehicles from rising.

However, according to the staff of Dung Phung electric motorbike store, some light-duty goods that are not listed here are also submerged in floodwater and are damaged.
According to preliminary statistics from the People's Committee of Da Nang City, during the recent flood, the whole city had 12 deaths, 4 missing people and 47 injured people.
Regarding agriculture, 55 hectares of rice, 718 hectares of vegetables and 73 hectares of annual crops were damaged; 167 hectares of aquaculture were affected and about 350 tons of food were washed, moist, or damaged.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued Official Letter No. 3330/UBND-PTDS requesting departments, branches, localities and related units to focus on overcoming the damage caused by the heavy floods in recent days, while proactively responding to complex weather developments from now until the end of 2025.
